Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Newark The Graduate Division of Global Affairs offers two interdisciplinary degrees: PhD and MS in global affairs. Candidates for the MS can apply and be admitted at any time in the academic year. Candidates for the PhD must apply by February 1.

Southern Illinois University Carbondale The University and department were honored to have a most-respected American political voice on campus. For more than 40 years, U.S. Senator Paul Simon nurtured a celebrated career in public service that was built on a foundation of integrity, trust, and compassion. Following his 1997 retirement, SIU welcomed Senator Simon to be the first holder of the Paul Simon Endowed Chair in Public Policy. He taught courses in political science, journalism, and history and also headed the Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois University.
Stony Brook University, State University of New York The PhD in political science prepares students for academic research and teaching positions with a focus on American politics, political psychology, and political economy. The Master of Arts in Public Policy (MAPP) prepares students for analytic and management positions in state, local, and federal agencies; in nonprofit organizations that interact with government; and in corporations that deal with public policy. Many graduates have had successful careers in each of these venues, while others have used the MA program as a launching pad to advanced graduate study in the social sciences and law.
