The Division is engaged in education and research in the physical processes governing the motion and composition of the ocean and atmosphere through observational, diagnostic, modeling, and theoretical explorations. Research apprenticeships are integral to the Division's education program. Students receive tuition waivers and financial aid as research assistantships or fellowships.
