NORTHROP GRUMMAN LITTON BECOMES FIRST FOUNDING
PARTNER OF THE IMAGINE AMERICA II SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
$25,000 grant will provide scholarships to students attending aviation
programs at career colleges
Washington, DC MAY 1, 2002 -- The Career College Foundation is pleased
to announce the receipt of a $25,000 grant from the Northrop Grumman Litton
Foundation to support the new Imagine America II Scholarship Program.
The new $500 scholarships will be made available to students who attend
aviation programs at participating career colleges and who received an
original Imagine America scholarship.
Northrop Grumman Litton becomes the first corporate partner to the successful
Imagine America Scholarship Program that provides nearly 4,000 scholarships
per year to high school students who graduate and attend a participating
career college.
The Foundation is still accepting applications for 2002 Founding Partners
of the Imagine America II Scholarship Program to support students in the
automotive, information technology, allied medical, and telecommunications
fields.

The Career College Foundation has assisted approximately 17,000 graduating
high school seniors with the award-winning Imagine America Scholarship
Program. In addition, the Foundation supports technical studies on topics
in career training and education and publishes reports and educational
materials on career colleges. The Career College Foundation is closely
affiliated with the Career College Association.
