FIRST IMAGINE AMERICA II AWARDS GIVEN TO STUDENTS AT AUTOMOTIVE TRAINING CENTER, EXTON, PENNSYLVANIA.

Washington, DC November 15, 2002 -- The Career College Foundation is pleased to announce the first recipients of the new Imagine America II adult scholarship program. Supported by a grant from the Fields Foundation, three students at the Automotive Training Center in Exton, Pennsylvania, received scholarship awards totaling $5,000. Scholarship recipients include Alan Arcurio of Roselyn, Pennsylvania; Joseph Russell of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania; and Thomas Zinszer of Linwood, Pennsylvania.
This announcement is the first in a series of Imagine America II adult scholarship awards to be announced by the Foundation. Imagine America II scholarship awards are currently being made available to students who enroll in automotive technology, aircraft technology, and information technology programs at participating career colleges.
The Imagine America II adult scholarship program is patterned on the Imagine America scholarship program, which is the largest national scholarship program providing support to graduating high school seniors. For the program year ending October 31, 2002, Imagine America scholarships were provided to nearly 4,000 students attending one of our participating career colleges.
The Imagine America II adult scholarship program was established to provide additional financial support to students attending career colleges. Funding support for the Imagine America II program is provided from grants from corporations and philanthropic organizations committed to supporting post secondary career education.
