The increasing costs of education and the continued lack of scholarship aid for career college students has compelled the Career College Foundation to create the new Imagine America II scholarships. Whereas the funding for the original Imagine America scholarships is provided by career colleges, funds for the Imagine America II scholarships originate from grants made by our corporate partners. Imagine America II builds upon the current program, one of the only sources of scholarship aid for career college students.

Eligibility for Imagine America II

These scholarships go to Imagine America recipients who have enrolled in, and are attending, programs in fields that meet the needs of our grant-making partners. Students need not apply for these Imagine America II scholarships; career colleges choose the recipients from their pool of Imagine America recipients.

Distribution of the Imagine America II Scholarships

The Foundation allocates Imagine America II scholarships among career colleges participating in Imagine America in the following manner:

For every grant received:

• One scholarship is guaranteed to every participating career college with an eligible student in the field specified by our corporate partner, assuming sufficient funding.
• Remaining scholarships are distributed to the colleges on the basis of participation in the original Imagine America program.

It should be noted that our corporate partners may target their grant to a particular region of the country. In this case, only students at participating career colleges in that region will be eligible to receive these scholarships.

Imagine America II Scholarships only go to students at career schools that participate in Imagine America

The funding for Imagine America II is expected to increase annually; career colleges can increase their access to these funds by expanding their participation in the original program. The greater the number of Imagine America students at a career college, the greater the number of Imagine America II scholarships that the Foundation can provide to their students. If a career college is not enrolled in Imagine America, its students will not have access to these new scholarships. Career colleges are encouraged to enroll in Imagine America here.
