2003-2004 Award Year Deadlines for Campus-Based Programs
The Department of Education has published the 2003-2004 award year deadline dates for institutions to submit requests and documents for campus-based aid programs. The campus-based aid programs are the Federal Perkins Loan Program, the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program, and the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) Program. To be considered for funding or waivers in any or all of the campus-based programs, institutions must submit required paperwork by the established deadlines.
The 2003-2004 award year deadlines are as follows:
* FWS Community Service minimum expenditure requirement - June 20, 2003
* Campus-based reallocation form for returning unused funds and requesting additional FWS allocations - August 22, 2003
* 2002-2003 Fiscal Operations Report and 2004-2005 Application to Participate (FISAP) - October 1, 2003
* Waiver for the 2004-2005 award year penalty for underuse of 2002-2003 award year funds - February 13, 2004
* Institutional Application to Participate in the Federal Student Financial Aid Programs - February 13, 2004
* Institutional Application and Agreement for Participation in the Work-Colleges Program for the 2004-2005 award year - March 9, 2004
Detailed instructions for filing campus-based applications and waivers, including where to file the paperwork, are published as Dear Colleague letters on the IFAP website closer to the actual deadlines. CCA will post links to these Dear Colleague letters as they become available.
