Perkins Loan MPN for 2003-2004 Award Year

Institutions participating in the Federal Perkins Loan Program may use the recently approved Master Promissory Note (MPN) for loans made on or after July 1, 2003. The MPN must be used for all loans made on or after November 1, 2004.

The MPN may be downloaded, in Word format, from the IFAP web site at http://ifap.ed.gov/dpcletters/CB0311.html. A detailed Dear Colleague letter with instructions for completing the MPN and comprehensive guidance will be issued by the Department in the near future; we will post the letter as soon as it is available.
