New OSFA Web Site Allows Access to Applicant Info Over the Web  -- The Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) has developed a new web site for financial aid administrators called "FAA Access on the Web".
 

2001-02 SFA Handbook to Be Available Shortly -- OSFA is completing work on the 2001-2002 SFA Handbook which will be available in its entirety on the Web. Several chapters are already available now in Adobe Acrobat format at http://www.ed.gov/offices/OSFAP/ifap/preview/
 

Cohort Default Rate Guide Draft Available -- A new, revised "Cohort Default Rate Guide" is now available at http://ifap.ed.gov/IFAPWebApp/currentDraftPag.jsp for review. The new Guide replaces previously guidance in the separate "Draft" and "Official" "Cohort Default Rate Guides" and combines the guidance in these earlier publications into a single document.
 

Pell Grant Videoconference Announced -- OSFA will be hosting a satellite video conference on the Pell Grant disbursement system for the 2001-02 academic year. The video conference will cover RFMS, the new Pell Grants on-line web site, and the Pell module of the EDExpress software suite. Participants will be able to call-in, FAX and e-mail questions to ED staff.
