Bay State College Imparts State-of-the-Art Skills That Can Be Applied to a Wide Range of Career Opportunities

Bay State College continuously assesses its offerings. Existing programs are improved and refined and new ones are added to ensure that graduates enter their chosen careers with state-of-the-art skills. Associate degrees in accounting, business administration, criminal justice, , entertainment management (focused on recording arts production), fashion design and merchandising, information technology, health studies, nursing, and several healthcare practitioner fields, travel/hospitality management, and retail business management.

Four-year bachelor's degree programs are offered in entertainment management (audio production concentration), fashion merchandising and information technology lead to degrees that put Bay State graduates in the middle of the action in high-energy, future-proof careers, In addition, the management program has concentrations in finance, marketing, hospitality management, and healthcare management that offer a wide range of career opportunities in various industries and global locations.

Small classes, a student-faculty ratio of 18:1 and such special offerings as group workshops, career panels, and internships assure students of a relevant and finely focused educational experience. The International Student Advisor assists the school's many international students, and many students take part in the study-abroad program to gain international perspectives. A Solid Educational Infrastructure Supports Student Advancement and Success and Provides Academic Support

Studies are supported by a solid educational infrastructure. Bay State's library has a combined book collection of some 5,300 books, 100 periodicals, and 200 audiovisual titles. More than sixty computers are equipped with high-speed Internet access and several databases full of magazine and journal articles. First-rate research tools include EBSCO, LexisNexis Academic, the Internet Public Library, and the Library of Congress. The library is also a member of the Boston Regional Library System's interlibrary loan program.

Importantly, Bay State College makes certain to be inclusive of students needing supplemental instruction and other academic support. Its Office of Academic Development provides a range of resources for all students who need supplemental instruction, tutoring, mentoring, or counseling assistance to succeed as a Bay State student.

Campus Life Offers Activities, Clubs, Recreation, and Fun to Balance Academic Studies and Priorities

All on-campus residence halls are within walking distance of classrooms, the library, and the Center for Learning and Academic Success. The Office of Student Activities organizes numerous events throughout the year, including the Bay State College Fashion Show and trips to Fenway Park and Boston Celtics games. The voice of the student body is heard through the Bay State Student Association, and various special-interest clubs and organizations provide productive activities for students.
