They are leaders in their fields--including a wide range of businesses and industries, nonprofit organizations, and the arts and sciences.

Campus Life

Becker traces its history from the union of 2 Massachusetts educational institutions -- one founded in 1784, and the other in 1887. Today the college's nearly 1,800 students live and learn on these 2 New England campuses in the heart of Massachusetts: one in cosmopolitan Worcester and, only six miles away, in the quintessential New England town of Leicester. Worcester and Leicester are located 50 miles west of Boston and approximately 170 miles northwest of New York City.

Worcester is New England's 2nd-largest city and offers a diverse array of cultural offerings, world-class museums, sports events, entertainment, and over 100 restaurants within walking distance of the Worcester Campus. The Leicester Campus offers college living at its finest. Each campus offers academic facilities, a dining hall, bookstore, and a library. A campus shuttle provides regular service between the two campuses.

One of the highlights of the Becker experience is the uniqueness of student residence halls. Students choose from beautifully restored Victorian homes or more traditional residence-style living arrangements. There are numerous opportunities for students to get involved through clubs, organizations, intramurals, special events, community service, and a strong Division III athletics program.
