Associate

Accounting:

All businesses have Accounting professionals that keep them on track with their budgets and spending. At CTU, we help students gain a solid accounting background by teaching practical, real world accounting techniques and combining them with insight from our experienced instructors. Students will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the accounting cycle, analyzing and interpreting various financial statements, and how those statements can be used to make solid business decisions. Our courses in business and managerial accounting give students the tools they need to cultivate their critical thinking skills.

Business Administration Management:

This degree program emphasizes a strong base of business fundamentals including critical-thinking and decision-making skills. You can learn practical, real-world applications from professors with extensive business experience. In addition to important undergraduate foundation studies in areas including English, math, social science and technology, you can learn presentation techniques, technology application and research basis.

Criminal Justice:

In this degree program, you can learn the basics of criminal thinking and gain important skills such as report writing; intake assessment and evaluation for work with juvenile and victim advocacy, family court work, child and youth work, loss prevention, fraud investigations, court administration, homeland security, crisis work, customs, juvenile correction work and court-appointed special advocate.

e-Business:

In this degree program, you can learn to design, develop and maintain Web pages and Web sites. You can also develop skills to act as liaison between the technical staff and management or customers. Information Technology:

The Information Technology Associate Degree program at CTU allows students to obtain the key technical skills necessary to meet the requirements of the workplace today. Students can learn to analyze the software and hardware needs of an organization and determine how it will be used to support business goals. Our flexible curriculum is designed to keep pace with changing technologies and is based on current market demand. Plus, as with all of our programs at CTU, there is an general education component that is included to provide students with the crucial foundational studies they need to be successful.

Network Systems Security:

The information technology degree program is designed to develop a strong base of practical, real-world business and technology skills from professors who are also IT professionals. In addition to important undergraduate foundation studies, you can learn to link software and hardware needs to support business goals. You can develop a fundamental understanding of business along with technical skills such as computer languages, client-server networks, Web publishing, and database and spreadsheet applications.

Visual Communications:

The associate's level Visual Communication program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the commercial art, graphic design, and multimedia related fields. Students can acquire a working knowledge of drawing, design concepts, typography, digital design, and graphic design skills to create professional, illustrative solutions to commercial design problems. Using the tools of industry-current technology along with traditional methods students can develop skills in digital imaging, computer illustration, web design, desktop publishing, prepress, and advertising techniques. Graphic design, career development, and portfolio classes are designed to help prepare students for their internships and professional careers. Students will create a portfolio to showcase their skills gained in the program. Students can gain experience using Macromedia and Adobe software along with other popular software programs.

Bachelor of Science

This degree concentration addresses the principles and techniques of systems management and logistics, including the fundamentals of analysis, design, implementation and customer support. You can build a strong foundation in analytical components including pricing and distribution as well as collaboration and management strategy.

Business Administration Management:

The management concentration expands your studies into more advanced managerial concepts and strategies such as project risk management, strategy development and human resource issues. You can further customize your program through choice of electives, including accounting, economics, money and capital markets, team building, logistics or sales.

Computer Engineering:

In this program, you can learn both electrical engineering and computer science skills. You will draw from each discipline to improve the hardware/software interface and to integrate software demands directly into the hardware design. You can develop all-important communication and interpersonal skills to help you interpret customer requirements and produce technology solutions.

Computer Science:

In this degree program, students can develop a strong base of practical, real-world skills from professors who are also computer science professionals. In addition to important undergraduate foundation studies, you can learn computer programming languages, computer network systems and software engineering skills. Criminal Justice:

CTU's bachelor's degree in criminal justice is designed to build a strong base of practical, real-world applications from professors who are experienced professionals. This program is designed to provide students with the appropriate general education, theory, and hands-on skills required for building and/or enhancing a career in business administration. The purpose of the program is to provide the student with a broad base of knowledge that builds on a previously awarded associate's program in business; and also provide the graduate with the specific skills necessary to work in a variety of business settings such as: Administrative Manager, Facilities Manager, Human Resources, Training, etc.

Business Administration Human Resource Management:

The MBA-HRM degree prepares you to integrate human resource functions into an organization's strategic plan. Long-range planning approaches, developing leadership vision and how to survive and thrive through organizational change are included in this program. You can learn effective recruiting and retaining/retraining options and how to protect the employee' and the organization's best interests.

Business Administration Project Management:

The MBA-PM degree program can prepare you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become an effective project manager, including time/conflict management; teams and HR strategies; risk analysis and management; scheduling techniques; organizational and processes; costing and budgetary controls; procurement and contracting; and implementation and assessment.

The MBA-L/SCM degree program can prepare you with an understanding of the relevance and applicability of logistics methods as they relate to business management. Computer Engineering:

The MCSE degree program emphasizes effective optimization of computer systems within organizations to strengthen competitive advantage. Computer Science Computer Systems Security:
