It offers diploma, associate, and bachelor's degree programs at campuses in Switzerland and the United Kingdom (UK).

Bachelor Degree Program in Hospitality Management

The Bachelor in Hospitality Management degree program at Glion Institute for Higher Education is offered at the university's Swiss and UK campuses. Its 126-credit curriculum consists of hands-on courses in hotel and restaurant management, business and specialization courses and two 6-month internships.

Students can choose from 6 specializations including the Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management. The Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management in (a) sustainable development in tourism, (b) real estate finance and revenue management, (c) human resources, (d) sales and marketing, and (e) event management are also specializations.

Students can complete the program in 7 semesters (including 2 internship semesters) for a total of 3.5 years.

Associate Degree in Hospitality Administration (Swiss Campus)

The Associate in Hospitality Administration degree program prepares students for entry-level, supervisory positions or further study in bachelor's hospitality degree programs.

Its 2-year curriculum consists of 66 credits of general education, professional development, and entrepreneurship courses including "craft-based learning activities" and an internship.

Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Operations (Swiss Campus)

The Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Operations program provides an accelerated track (just 1.5 years) to first employment in the international hospitality industry. Its 42-credit curriculum includes general education, professional development, and entrepreneurship courses with an emphasis on hands-on learning.

Bachelor Degree Programs in Event, Sport, and Entertainment Management (Swiss Campus)

The Bachelor in Event, Sport, and Entertainment Management degree program at Glion Institute of Higher Education consists of 5 semesters of courses and 2 semesters of internships. Its 126-credit curriculum contains hands-on internal and external event planning exercises, , entrepreneurship, specialization, and general education courses.

Specializations include the Bachelor of Business Administration in Event, Sport, and Entertainment Management; the B.A. in International Event Management; the B.A. in International Sport Management; and the B.A. in Event, Sport, and Entertainment Marketing and Communication Management.

Associate Degree Program in Event, Sport, and Entertainment Administration (Swiss Campus)

The Associate Degree in Event, Sport and Entertainment Administration program is a 2-year degree program that prepares students for supervisory positions or continuation to bachelor's degree programs.

Its curriculum consists of 66 credits of courses -- such as "Operational Event Planning," "Management Principles," "Managing Entertainment Facilities," and "Emerging Leisure Technologies" -- and an internship.

Graduate Programs at Glion Institute of Higher Education (GIHE)

GIHE also has several master's and postgraduate programs including the Glion M.B.A. degree program; the M.S. in International Hospitality Finance degree program; and the Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality or Event, Sport, and Entertainment Administration program.

Accomplished Faculty Members

Glion's faculty members are highly experienced practitioners and accomplished scholars, so they bring extensive backgrounds in both theory and practice to the classroom.

Jackson Dang, lecturer in entrepreneurship, accounting, and finance, has bachelor's degrees in mathematics and French, an M.B.A. degree, and a master's degree in finance. He has more than 15 years of experience teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and 3 years of experience as a financial analyst.

Glion in Switzerland

Glion has campuses in Glion and Bulle in the southwestern region of Switerzland.

The picturesque Glion campus provides a variety of facilities including cafes, computer laboratories, and a fitness center as well as a number of student-organized outings, parties, and special events. Its location near the world-renowned resort town, Montreux, and Lake Geneva provides numerous outdoor recreation, shopping, dining, and cultural options.

Similar to the Glion campus, the Bulle campus has many academic and recreational facilities and a variety of clubs, events, and activities. Off campus, students can enjoy a variety of bars, boutiques, nightclubs, restaurants, and outdoor recreation like climbing, golfing, mountain biking, and paragliding.

Glion London

Glion's United Kingdom campus is located in London in the southeastern region of the UK. Glion London shares facilities with the British campus of Roehampton University, which provides on-campus housing, bakeries, cafes, and stores as well as a temporary employment agency.
