Accelerated BS in Business Administration Program at Holy Family University

The Accelerated BS in Business Administration program at Holy Family University helps students gain the theoretical and practice knowledge needed to excel in a variety of business settings.

Its 123-credit curriculum consists of liberal arts courses, foundational business courses, and business concentration courses. The curriculum integrates rigorous coursework with students' work and life experiences to create comprehensive learning experiences.

Courses are offered over 5-week or 8-week sessions and generally include a 4-hour class once per week. The university's transfer policy allows students to transfer up to 84 credits, thus helping them complete the program at an even faster pace.

BS in Business Administration - Marketing Concentration

The marketing concentration consists of 45 credits of general education courses and 33 credits of foundational business courses. It also includes 24 credits of concentration courses and 21 credits of general elective courses.

BS in Business Administration - Human Resource Administration Concentration

The human resource administration concentration consists of 45 credits of general education courses and 33 credits of foundational business courses. It also has 27 credits of concentration courses and 18 credits of general elective courses.

BS in Business Administration - Accounting Concentration

The accounting concentration consists of 45 credits of general education courses and 33 credits of foundational business courses. Additionally, it includes 30 credits of concentration courses and 15 credits of general elective courses.

BS in Business Administration - Criminal Justice Concentration

The criminal justice concentration consists of 45 credits of general education courses and 30 credits of foundational business courses. In addition, it has 30 credits of concentration courses and 18 credits of general elective courses.

BS in Business Administration - Administration Concentration

The administration concentration consists of 45 credits of general education courses and 33 credits of foundational business courses. It also includes 24 credits of concentration courses and 21 credits of general elective courses.

Graduates of the BS in Business Administration program are skilled at putting management theories into practice. They are also adept at identifying, implementing, and administering management policies and systems in diverse settings. In addition, they all have a broad view of the global business environment, which allows them to manage businesses beyond local boundaries.

Additionally, graduates have strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, so they are successful at developing innovative solutions for business problems. They are skillful at researching, organizing, and presenting information in a clear, accurate, and decisive manner.

Financial Assistance at Holy Family University

Holy Family University helps students achieve their goal of receiving a first-rate education. In fact, more than 85% of its undergraduates receive some form of financial aid.

Students in its accelerated undergraduate programs may qualify for federal grants and loans, state grants, or university grants and scholarships as well as private scholarships. Additionally, they may be eligible for employer tuition-reimbursement programs.

The university also provides a no-interest, deferred tuition program that makes it possible for students to pay tuition over the course of a semester.

Expert Faculty Members at Holy Family University

Holy Family University employs faculty members who prepare students to "perform with purpose." They are accomplished practitioners and scholars who bring real-world experience to the classroom.

Dr. Melissa Fender is an assistant professor of management in the School of Business Administration. Her research focuses on the impact that after-hour connectivity plays in employees' job attitudes, job performances, work-family conflicts, and stress levels.

Donna Conrad relies on her extensive experience as an entrepreneur and consultant to integrate business theory and application to her teaching of management and human resource courses.

Holy Family University

Additional Locations

Holy Family University also has campuses in Newtown and Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

The Newtown facility houses the Center for Graduate Programs in Counseling Psychology and Learning Resource Center as well as classrooms, laboratories, and a chapel.

The Woodhaven facility is located in Bensalem and includes the Division of Extended Learning that administers the BS in Business Administration program. It has classrooms, administrative offices, a computer lab, and meeting rooms.
