Overview

"Why be treated like a number when you can be treated like number one?"

At Mt. Sierra College students will know their professors and classmates. They are a small, private college located in Monrovia, California close to all Los Angeles attractions. Student housing options are available for out of state and international students.

Degrees offered

The college offers bachelor of science degrees in Computer Information Technology, Network Communications and Information Security and bachelor of arts degrees in Media Arts with concentrations in Visual Design or Game Arts Design. Estimated annual tuition is $14,220 and generous scholarships and financial aid are available for those who qualify.

Small classes, big opportunities

On many campuses students may find themselves in auditorium size classes of 100 or more where there is little chance to interact with other students or get to know the professors. In such an environment students can feel like they're just a number. Mt. Sierra is different and they pride themselves on being able to know and value every individual. They prepare students to become leaders in their fields because they base their curriculum on the current needs of the workplace, not on theory. Their distinguished faculty are experienced professionals in their fields, enabling them to provide students with practical experience in the classroom. This career oriented focus contributes to a smoother pathway to employment for their graduates. The school supports each student to find internships so they can connect their learning to their career. If students are interested in starting their own company, Mt. Sierra has an incubator on campus to link to mentors, partners, and potential investors. Their commitment to their graduates doesn't stop at graduation. The school offers lifelong learning opportunities which means graduates can return any time to take courses to update their skills, tuition free.
