Point Park University is a small, private, co-ed, urban liberal arts school located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The campus is just a quarter of a mile from Point State Park, a stunning area near the confluence of the city's famous three rivers. Life on campus at Point Park University offers everything students would hope for from a small liberal arts college. The school provides traditional college residence halls, from single- to triple-occupancy, as well as unique living and learning communities, where students choose to live together in a residence hall with a particular theme or interest. Some examples of living and learning communities include Art's Sake, Fashion Gurus, and Sporting Life.
There are over 40 clubs and student organizations on campus, providing students with no shortage of ways to become involved in the college experience. Intramural sports are a popular activity, along with 11 varsity sports teams in baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, cross country, and volleyball. In addition, men's and women's golf teams are now part of Point Park athletics. The university participates in the IAC conference, and Point Park athletes have received national recognition.
