The riverside, 300-acre campus provides a safe, comfortable oasis for approximately 2,900 students who call SNHU home. With students from more than 65 countries around the world, SNHU's student body remains the most internationally diverse north of Boston.

SNHU purposefully keeps its student body small so students will never be just faces in the classroom or just numbers in a file. With the average class size of 20 students, faculty members will recognize their students and interact with them inside and outside of the classroom. For students, SNHU feels like home.

Degree Programs at Southern New Hampshire University

SNHU offers more than 40 undergraduate programs in Arts and Sciences, Business, Culinary, and Education. Students can choose from a variety of majors in business administration (including the Degree in Three program ? an opportunity to earn a bachelor?s degree in three years), creative writing, elementary education, fashion merchandising and management, finance, game art and development, game programming and development, graphic design & media arts, hospitality business, justice studies, law & politics, mathematics, music, sport management, psychology, and many more.

Graduate programs are available in business (including MBA degrees tailored to student interests, plus accounting, international business, marketing, organizational leadership, sport management and more), community economic development, education (for certified and pre-certified teachers), hospitality, justice studies and a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction and Nonfiction. Doctoral programs can be attended in the Doctor of Business Administration in International Business (PhD) or Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership (EdD).

SNHU's One-of-a-Kind Programs

Any interested students out there who want to earn a bachelor's degree in business in 3 years? Anyone interested in saving thousands of dollars on tuition and related expenses? If so, consider the innovative Degree in Three programs. Students are able to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in 3 years through a blend of traditional and non-seat time experiences in the real world. The overall goal of the program is to foster and enhance effective communications, critical thinking and teamwork, resulting in graduates being able to: Think, Act, Do, and Be!

At a glance, students are able to:

-Major in specific areas including business administration, marketing, and sport management

- Save $40,000 in tuition, room and board

- Take the traditional course load of 5 classes per semester

- Graduate in 6 semesters (no night, weekend, or summer courses!)

- Secure internships and participate in community events

- Pursue other interests during a fourth year -- graduate school, employment, study abroad etc.

Southern New Hampshire University's Campus

SNHU is the first carbon-neutral school in New Hampshire. Its wooded campus is only minutes from downtown Manchester, which was named the best small city in the US by Money Magazine and a top college town. SNHU is conveniently located one hour from the city of Boston and from the beaches and the mountains. Over the past few years, the campus has received numerous upgrades and new construction projects, including:

- New 300-bed student residence hall

- New Learning Commons (Opening Fall 2014)

- Robert A. Freese Student Center (renovated Summer 2012)

- Academic Center (opened Fall 2009)

- Dining Center (opened January 2010)

- Outdoor basketball and volleyball courts for recreation

Other campus features include:

-A simulated stock trading room

-Multimedia classrooms

-An auditorium

-The McIninch Art Gallery

-A fitness center that rivals members-only gyms

Students can participate in one of the university's more than 55 student clubs or start new ones. Intercollegiate teams compete in Division II of the NCAA and the Northeast-10 Conference.

Division II sports include: baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. New sports to be added include field hockey in Fall 2014 and track & field and bowling in Fall 2015. Intramural sports, including basketball, flag football, indoor soccer, tennis, racquetball, softball, and volleyball, are also extremely popular.
