Programs of Study

The Master of Business Administration program offers a solutions-based, action-oriented approach to organizational change and human dynamics. Core courses include a broad array of foundation subjects, all relevant to meeting challenges and problems encountered in modern organizations. Students are required to choose from a variety of concentrations: customized professional concentration, finance, fraud examination, health-care administration, information systems management, international business, management, marketing, public administration, or sustainable management. This program can enhance future career potential and prepare students for postgraduate work in business.
The Master of Science in management program was designed to develop leadership and operational skills in those who wish to hold managerial or supervisory positions in public, private, and not-for-profit industries. Students learn the multifaceted process of business administration. The program enables students to diagnose multiple organizational circumstances, determine and evaluate options, and then implement and evaluate a plan of action.
The Doctor of Business Administration program provides industry and academic professionals the opportunity to build upon core skills and knowledge gained through the master’s program. Students develop advanced comprehension of theoretical and applied literature in a chosen discipline and a higher level of competence in conducting action research. The program is designed to develop critical knowledge and skills for success in service to the profession and the community and in attaining credentials essential to leading, consulting, and teaching. Students must choose a concentration in accounting, customized professional concentration, information systems, global business sustainability, international business, management, or marketing.
Research Facilities
Argosy University libraries provide curriculum support and educational resources, including current text materials, diagnostic training documents, reference materials and databases, journals and dissertations, and major and current titles in program areas. There is an online public-access catalog of library resources available throughout the Argosy University system. Students have remote access to the campus library database, enabling them to study and conduct research at home. Academic databases offer dissertation abstracts, academic journals, and professional periodicals. All library computers are Internet accessible. Software applications include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, and various test-scoring programs.
