Milwaukee has a wealth of historic European ancestry and development, including both French and German pioneers who came to the land in the early 1800's. The latter developed what has become one of the largest production centers of domestic beer in the U.S. Besides great industry, Milwaukee is also home to Miller Park, where professional baseball's Milwaukee Brewers play every summer. In addition, students can explore the breathtaking Milwaukee Art Museum that houses over 25,000 pieces of original art, from Old Masters to German Expressionism and beyond.
