The Committed Faculty Not Only Teaches, but also Reaches the Students at Their Core, Advising Them Along Their Journeys
FAU has been named one of the nation's "Best Buys" in higher education, scoring high for its state-of-the-art facilities, broad academic offerings, and the resources that derive from being a large research university. FAU faculty members are committed to providing students with a first-rate education and leveraging the many advantages of a small-campus setting, such as a low 16:1 student-teacher ratio, small classes, and a relaxed, friendly environment.
The committed faculty assists students in developing skills, refining abilities, assembling information and examining disparate resources in a process of ongoing discovery leading to enlightened, constructive decisions. FAU faculty members help students develop suitable academic plans, upgrade their decision-making skills, and make maximum use of university and community resources as they help students identify the best possible academic programs.
