Saint Joseph's University is a Jesuit university founded in 1851 by the Society of Jesus. The school is committed to providing its 4,200 full-time undergraduate students with education in the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis, or care of the whole person. As a Catholic university, Saint Joseph's strives to embody the Catholic traditions of life and culture. The school is composed of three academic colleges, including the College of Arts and Sciences, the Erivan K. Haub School of Business, and the College of Professional and Liberal Studies.
