At the same time, Christian life is a mainstay on campus, with chapel services, student ministries, religious classes, and many other avenues in which students can celebrate their faith.

The 735-acre campus in Waco, Texas, gives students all the space they need to learn. A recently constructed 508,000-square-foot Sciences Building is equipped with modern laboratories, small classrooms, and study spaces for individuals and groups, giving students a state-of-the-art place to work in addition to Baylor's many historic buildings.

Learning goes beyond the classroom at Baylor, and students who choose to live in a Living-Learning Center will soon find that living alongside faculty offices and classrooms foments an atmosphere of constant intellectual stimulation and friendly collaboration.

Baylor also has a vibrant community life outside of the classrooms and residence halls. Baylor University consists of eight smaller schools: the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, School of Engineering and Computer Science, Hankamer School of Business, Honors College, School of Music, School of Social Work, and the Louise Herrington School of Nursing.
