Students at UAT have a wide range of choices for academic, personal, and professional growth inside and outside the classroom. And, they enjoy their individual endeavors while comfortably surrounded by the technology they came to study.
Students can relax at the cafe with a cappuccino and view UATv, UAT's on-campus closed circuit TV and Video distribution system with local TV, four satellites, TIVO, and VCRs feeding content into virtually every room in the building.
Cozy furniture groupings scattered throughout the campus provide a perfect spot to study or collaborate on team projects. Students relax by playing games at the Computer Gaming Center, working on a project for the New Technologies Lab, or participating in a wide variety of student clubs.
Some students may also choose to select UAT's online program options to complete some of their coursework. Options are limited only by imagination.

Since the college launched operations at its campus in Tempe, Arizona - a community at the heart of the Phoenix metropolitan area known as the Valley of the Sun - UAT's devoted all of its resources to creating a vital academic environment where students are challenged to achieve, explore new and traditional concepts, and practice what they learn in real-world situations.

UAT Utilizes Forums, Curriculum, Clubs, Trips, and Portfolios to Aid Students in Reaching Their Highest Potential
The University hosts several Technology Forums annually to bring industry experts on campus for presentations and conversations with UAT students and faculty.
The campus environment promotes awareness and involvement in the latest computer applications in the industry, as well as supportive, stimulating interaction with other students and faculty as students work to master a world-class technology curriculum. Students are encouraged to join local computer user groups or campus-based clubs. There are organized trips to regional conferences including SIGGRAPH, AEC, E3, and COMDEX trade shows.
UAT plays a key role in facilitating communications among technology professionals and students. With so many technology tools available, students are encouraged to develop professional portfolios that best reflect their creative and technical skills. Student work is exhibited with pride in showcases around the campus. Student artwork, designs, and applications are also presented in university publications, television commercials, trade show displays, the UAT Web site, and multimedia presentations shown to visitors, groups, and high school classes.
UAT students are encouraged to compete in both internal and industrial-sponsored design, multimedia, and software application competitions. Students are challenged to reach their highest potential.

Student Services will become a regular part of a student's life at UAT. Degree checks, financial aid, residence life, career services, and internships are all services offered to every UAT student. Student Services seeks to foster a vibrant student culture while supplying information and services to students throughout their time at UAT.
Student Services can answer general questions, refer students to the best source of information, facilitate resolution of issues, and provide academic advisement.
