The Bryn Mawr College student body is comprised of 1,300 undergraduate from 58 countries and 47 states. Twenty percent of students are international students. Nearly 50 percent are students of color or international students. Bryn Mawr ranks within the top five institutions in the nation for its socioeconomic diversity.

Accolades Abound at Bryn Mawr

Bryn Mawr College ranks in the top ten among liberal arts colleges on the Wall Street Journal's list of feeder schools to the nation's top law, medical, and business schools. Among all colleges and universities, Bryn Mawr's Ph.D. rank (percentage of graduates going on to earn a Ph.D.) is within the top ten in the nation. In addition, its admission rate to law schools is almost 80 percent and admission rate to medical schools is more than 75 percent. Bryn Mawr women are four times more likely to major in math or science than all women nationally.

Admissions

Bryn Mawr exclusively accepts the Common Application and waives the $50 application fee for students who apply online. Students who are interested in applying should start their common application as soon as possible and make Bryn Mawr part of their My Colleges List.
