Creditworthiness

If you will be borrowing to pay for your college education, making sure you qualify for a loan is critical. For the most part, that means your credit record must be free of default or delinquency. You can check your credit history with one or more of the following three major credit bureaus and clean up any adverse information that appears. The links provided below will offer specific information on what you need to provide to obtain a report through their websites. You will usually be asked for your full name, phone number, social security number, birth date, and addresses for the last five years.
