Research

Focus of faculty research: Understand and manipulate the chemistry of biological systems. Examine the properties, behavior, and creation of metals, minerals, organometallic compounds, and inorganic nanostructures. Produce and study polymers and nanoscale architectures with specific chemical, biological, and physical properties Study the structure, reactivity, synthesis, and applications of natural and man-made carbon-containing compounds. Explore new approaches to teaching chemistry at all levels of education.
