Overview

LeBow College of Business integrates Drexel University's technological prominence with experience-based education to develop world-class leaders. LeBow's graduate programs are based on rigorous academics and hands-on learning, as well as a focus on global perspectives and entrepreneurial thinking.

Drexel LeBow's full-time MBA, completed in 15 months, now offers an exclusive opportunity: The C-Suite Co-op. Over the course of the academic year, students compete for an opportunity for a paid position, working side-by-side with top-level management for 3 months at top-tier companies -- including eBay, SAP, Urban Outfitters and others. Other experiential learning components, such as consulting or study abroad opportunities, give all the students the chance to apply their classroom learning in real-world business situations.

Drexel LeBow's MBA programs have a variety of delivery options for business students to study while still engaged in their careers. The part-time MBA options include an at-students'-own pace or accelerated evening program. The online MBA is also accelerated, cohorted, and is truly flexible -- yet delivers the same curriculum and degree as the on-campus program. Concentrations and a flexible core allow students to customize the curriculum to their areas of interest. Elective courses are offered through cross-disciplinary institutes and centers to bring executives and academics together to explore best practices in the fields of corporate governance, reputation management, strategic leadership, and entrepreneurship and innovation. Concentrations include business analytics, entrepreneurship and innovation management, healthcare management, finance, and marketing.

Students enrolled in LeBow's MS programs master their concentrations and learn to think strategically from world-renowned faculty members and top practitioners in an environment of unparalleled academic focus. MS degrees are offered in accounting, business analytics, and finance.

For more than 30 years, LeBow's PhD programs have prepared doctoral students to advance knowledge and practice in business and economics through excellence in research and teaching. The faculty members take a hands-on approach to mentoring students and producing the next crop of thought-leaders.

Opening in fall 2013, LeBow's new 12-story, 177,500-square-foot Gerri C. LeBow Hall will change the landscape of business education in Philadelphia by serving as an academic center for students and faculty members, as well as an events and networking hub for the business community with its state-of-the-art facilities and collaborative spaces. Other academic centers for graduate studies include satellite campuses in Sacramento, CA, and Malvern, PA.

LeBow is among the elite 20% of business schools to be accredited by AACSB International -- The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and has been recognized by "BusinessWeek," "Financial Times," "Entrepreneur," and "The Princeton Review" as one of the world's top business schools. LeBow has over 9,000 graduate students and a large network of successful alumni in Philadelphia and around the world.

Drexel University is a top ranked global research university, with a full-range of graduate programs that connect students to a campus with a graduate student body of more than 9000 individuals, faculty members who are leaders in their fields, state-of-the-art facilities, and support and career services. For nearly a decade, Drexel has been ranked in the category of Best National Universities in America's Best Colleges by "US News and World Report." The university placed 83rd overall in the 2013 rankings, the 5th straight time Drexel has been in the top 100.

Drexel also ranked 3rd among national universities in the "US News" list of Up-and-Comers, those schools most often cited by university administrators nationwide as making "the most promising and innovative changes in the areas of academics, faculty, student life, campus, or facilities." Drexel has been in the top 10 each of the 5 years this list has been published.
