The School of Technology and Professional Studies (SoTAPS) is a premier school recognized nationally and internationally for professional and industry-related degree programs. The school's vision is to continue its commitment to traditional and non-traditional learners and practice-oriented and industry-relevant programs. The school's aim is to provide student learning and success through excellence in teaching and scholarship.

With a focus on advanced knowledge and innovation, graduate programs in the School of Technology and Professional Studies provide a comprehensive educational experience including research opportunities and access to state-of-the-art facilities and laboratories.

Our graduate programs integrate the highest level of scholarship across disciplinary boundaries through experiential learning. This multidimensional learning environment develops students' critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills while introducing them to new perspectives in their chosen fields. As a result, graduates of our master's degree programs are well prepared for the diverse demands of careers in industry.

The School of Technology and Professional Studies offers graduate programs in diverse areas such as construction management, engineering technology, food science, hospitality management, professional studies, project management, property management, and sport management.

Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office assists and counsels students and families in identifying and procuring financial resources required for study at Drexel. Funding sources can include scholarship, grant, loan, and employment programs.

Construction Management

The Master of Science in Construction Management provides practitioners technical competence and strong business acumen offered with three distinct concentrations. It gives professionals the opportunity to develop the multidisciplinary skills required of effective construction managers.

Creativity and Innovation

The Master of Science in Creativity and Innovation teaches students how to recognize and delineate problematic situations and generate a sufficient number of plausible and creative solutions. Students will be able to participate in and translate the latest research in creativity.

Engineering Technology

The Master of Science in Engineering Technology program focuses primarily on the applied aspects of technology closest to product improvement, industrial practices, and interaction of engineering technology with operations.

Food Science

The Master of Science in Food Science offers a dynamic, multidisciplinary education grounded in the latest research techniques and technological applications for those interested in applying science to meet an ever-growing demand for healthy, safe, and nutritious foods.

Hospitality Management

The Master of Science in Hospitality Management is a leading-edge graduate program providing flexibility for professionals seeking career advancement. The program is built on a foundation of creative and collaborative thinking, with an emphasis on the latest technological advances within the industry. The aim is to produce knowledgeable leaders with the management skills to motivate others to success.

Professional Studies

Drexel's MS in Professional Studies is designed for individuals and practitioners with established career paths who are interested in developing marketable skills to meet and exceed evolving workforce demands, seeking professional development, and expanding promotional opportunities. Concentrations are available in creativity and innovation, e-learning leadership, and homeland security management.

Project Management

The MS in Project Management is designed to develop project management capabilities for application in a variety of fields. The program's curriculum is aligned with the internationally recognized Project Management Institute's Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and is designed to support the completion of the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Property Management

The Master of Science in Property Management seeks to educate professionals to be successful in the multidimensional and multidisciplinary field of property management. The degree provides graduate study for experienced managers with undergraduate degrees in areas outside of property management or real estate.

Sport Management

A student in the MS in Sport Management program will develop the ability to apply and integrate the fundamentals of business to sport management, apply knowledge of law and labor relations to the sport industry, and creatively direct the economic contributions that sports offer to individuals, organizations, and the community.
