Overview

Master of Science in Nursing in Advanced Practice, Education, or Executive Leadership

The Master of Science in Nursing Program at Felician College is fully accredited by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

Two Advanced Practice options are available: Family Nurse (46 credits) and Adult and Gerontology (43 credits). These tracks can be completed online in two years. Students select their clinical practicum sites and clinical preceptors through guidance from qualified faculty.

The 42-credit Master of Science in Nursing: Education program is meant to prepare nurses who have a BSN (from an accredited institution of higher learning) to take on roles as faculty in colleges and universities, as educators in health care groups and organizations, or as community and family educators. The program features a curriculum of eight core courses, building on each student's clinical knowledge while developing a broad base of experience and knowledge as a nurse educator. This program can be completed in two years.

Nurses who are interested in a career in administration can complete the 36-credit MSN: Executive Leadership program. The project-based learning in this program is structured so that graduates are proficient in AONE Nurse Executive Competencies. Courses are offered in a hybrid format that blends traditional classroom experience with distance learning.
