The Georgia WebMBA Program Delivery

The Georgia WebMBA program follows a cohort format, so students move through the program together and take courses in sequence. Coursework consists of cases studies, online team assignments and projects, and text materials, as well as written project work and discussions.

Because courses are asynchronous, no in person or online class meetings are required. Students study at their own pace and interact with fellow students and faculty members through conference calls, discussion boards, presentation areas, mail functions, and document sharing.

Face-to-face interactions include 2-day orientations at the start of the program and meetings with team members.

A Comprehensive Curriculum

The program's curriculum consists of 30 hours of courses that are completed in 5 consecutive terms including 1 summer session. It also includes 12 hours of pre-requisite courses in accounting, economics, finance, and statistics.

To accelerate program completion, 6 hours of graduate courses from AACSB-accredited schools can be transferred into the program and pre-requisites can be waived or completed via the university's Foundation Modules.

Georgia WebMBA Courses

Students complete 10 courses including "Human Behavior in Organizations," "Managerial Accounting," "Global and International Business," "Managerial Decision Analysis," and "Strategic Marketing." Additional courses are "Managerial Finance;" "Entrepreneurship -- New Venture Analysis;" "Management Information Systems;" "Production/Operations Management;" and "Business Strategy (Capstone)."
