John Brown University Offers MBA and Two Other Business-Related Master's Degrees both Onground and Online

John Brown University offers an MBA degree with emphases in Leadership and Ethics, International Business, and Global Continuous Improvement. John Brown University also offers Master of Science degrees with emphases in Leadership and Ethics and Leadership and Higher Education. Designed with the working professional in mind, graduate business courses are available in various formats and generally meet one night per week or online. Whether they are pursuing MBA degrees or MS degrees, students will benefit from the distinctive features available at JBU, including Christian values-based learning, global perspectives, and an emphasis on ethical leadership based on biblical principles.

JBU's graduate business programs are based on the premise that people learn best by experience. As a result, methods of experiential learning, including personal reflection, small group interaction, student/teacher interaction, structure exercises, and supervised field work are used throughout coursework. To practice and reinforce the leadership principles being taught, students work together to become a community of intellectuals and practitioners.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The MBA program provides excellent business training through the application of strategic business concepts, basic biblical principles and ethical decision making to current organizational and industry issues. MBA students are able to choose one of three emphases on which to focus their studies: Leadership and Ethics, International Business, and Global Continuous Improvement (Walmart Associates only).

Master of Science (MS)

The MS degrees equip students to lead with excellence using biblically-based models. Among many other things, students gain an understanding of how organizations work, how to provide leadership, and how to implement ethical practices. The MS degrees include the MS in Leadership and Ethics and the MS in Leadership and Higher Education.

Nationally Recognized Faculty

JBU faculty members are among the best when it comes to education and experience. Not only do they have the academic credentials required for teaching but they also bring real-world experience to the classroom. They know firsthand how organizations run, how to develop and apply strategic business concepts, and how to provide ethical leadership. They bring their experience to the classroom through both modeling excellence and guiding students to do and be their best.
