Graduate Studies at Oklahoma State University College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology

Graduate programs within CEAT are designed to facilitate the relationship between faculty and graduate students in research and innovative education. The hands-on approach at Oklahoma State University creates an environment for boundless learning and novel discoveries. The faculty members at OSU work with graduate students to help them achieve their dreams through problem solving and interdisciplinary partnerships. Although graduate research is housed within a specific department, world-class labs and research tools are available for a wide variety of research and instructional endeavors.

Research Programs

CEAT faculty members and students conduct research that addresses world needs, innovations, and scientific breakthroughs. CEAT faculty members write research proposals and direct research centers specializing on specific areas of interest.

CEAT encourages students to conduct creative and independent research. Depending on the available funding, financial resources are available for specific projects and objectives. Students and faculty members work together to produce research relevant for securing the domestic supply of energy, aiding in homeland security, improving national infrastructure, lowering the costs of consumer goods, creating manufacturing jobs, treating major illnesses, improving the environment, and increasing agricultural and business revenues.

A Unique College with Limitless Career Options

With over 20 undergraduate degree plans, and many graduate degree areas, CEAT students graduate with limitless opportunities available as career options. From work in medical research or architectural designs, to unmanned aircraft and the oil and gas industry, CEAT delivers practical education for the next generation of leaders.

Scholarships and Scholars Programs

The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology has a large list of outstanding alumni and friends who support the college through student scholarships and enrichment activities. With over $1.6 million given last year in scholarship support, CEAT students are able to focus on education and personal goals as opposed to financial stress. In addition, CEAT is home to some of the top national engineering scholars. CEAT has produces Goldwater, Truman, Udall, Marshall, Gates-Cambridge, and USA Today All American Scholars regularly. Outreach Efforts

Outreach efforts at OSU provide a broad spectrum of impact both nationally and internationally. Through training of emergency responders, producing manuals for nearly all firehouse's world-wide, and direct economic impact of new jobs and entrepreneurial innovations, CEAT impacts millions each year.
