The programmers and instructors who create and deliver the university¿s online curriculum are required to complete online training themselves to ensure a robust and fulfilling digital distance learning experience.

Master's Degree Program Offering

Park University Graduate School offers students 7 master's degree programs in both face-to-face (classroom) format and online. Specific programs include a wide variety of concentrations.

The 7 master''s degree programs include: the Master of Arts (MA) in Communication and Leadership program; the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program; the Master of Education (MEd) program; the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program; the Master of Healthcare Leadership (MHL) program; the Master of Music in Piano/String Performance (MM) program; and the Master of Public Affairs (MPA) program.

The graduate music program also includes a graduate artist diploma and a graduate certificate in applied music.

Flexible MBA Program

Park University Graduate School offers an MBA program from the School of Business at Park University. Students may earn their MBA degrees entirely through online delivery, entirely through the face-to-face classroom environment, or through a combination of the 2 delivery systems.

Master of Education Degree Programs Offer Specializations

The School of Education at Park University offers 2 master's degree programs in education. They are the Master of Education (MEd) degree program and the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree program. The MEd degree is available to graduate students in 5 specializations: education leadership, adult education, early childhood education, language and literacy, and teacher leadership.

Graduate education degree programs at Park University allow students to explore issues, design curricula, and learn new strategies and techniques that will enable them to become more effective educators, through the application of theory and the latest research in education best practices.

Master of Healthcare Leadership Addresses Healthcare Transformation

A Master of Healthcare Leadership program is offered through the Park University Hauptmann School for Public Affairs. This master's degree program prepares students to assume leadership roles in a wide variety of public, private, and non-profit healthcare organizations.

The curriculum in this program includes the study of current and emerging issues facing healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and patients, including the implementation of electronic health records (EHRs), compliance issues, clinical documentation improvement, and the use of information technology to manage healthcare business workflows.

Graduate and Professional Certificate Program Offering

The graduate certificate program at Park University Graduate School includes 7 fields of study. Some are available only online and others are available in both online and classroom formats.

Online certificates can be earned in computer and network security, disaster and emergency management, healthcare/health services management and leadership, and leadership of international healthcare organizations.

Two certificate programs are offered both online and on campus: business and government leadership, and nonprofit leadership.

The professional certificate programs in urban development and in applied music are offered at the Kansas City Graduate School campus.

Park University's Special Relationship with the US Military

Park University has maintained a long-standing relationship with the US military and is recognized as one of the largest providers of online education to military learners worldwide. The university has received international recognition by "Military Advanced Education" magazine in its "Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities" listing.

Park University History of Diversity

Park University has a well earned reputation for supporting an ethnically diverse student population and non-traditional adult learners. Two of the original 17 men and women first enrolled at Park University in 1875 were Native Americans, and the university welcomed black students into Park University residence halls in the 1950s.

Today Park University has more than 24,000 campus and online students, featuring a robust international student population from 110 countries.

Park University also has 40 satellite campus locations in 21 states, located on or near United States Air Force bases. The flagship campus of Park University is located in Parkville, just outside Kansas City, and the university also has campuses in Independence, Missouri, and Austin, Texas.

Missouri and Kansas Offer Recreation and Sports

While the campus of Park University Graduate School is located in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, the flagship campus of the university is located on an 800 acre bluff overlooking the city of Parkville, just outside Kansas City.

The Kansas and Missouri Rivers wind through Parkville and Kansas City respectively and provide the backdrop to scores of parks, trails, and conservation areas. Kansas City is home to 2 professional sports teams, the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League and the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball.
