Saint Joseph's College provides online programs that allow adult learners to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees while managing professional and personal responsibilities. The college provides more than 30 online undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and continuing education programs that do not require on-campus residencies. It does, however, offer innovative summer residency programs.

Furthermore, the college offers year-round admission and courses that start each month. It also has a generous transfer credit policy, enabling students to earn their degrees at an accelerated pace.

The Online MBA Program at Saint Joseph's College

The online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program equips individuals with the leadership and business skills needed to advance their careers.

The program, which can be completed in as few as 18 months, includes nearly 20 fewer credit hours than MBA programs at other institutions. Additionally, its online format allows students to learn at their own pace and according to their schedules.

Online MBA Program Curriculum

The Leadership MBA program emphasizes critical thinking, social responsibility, and interpersonal dynamics of business management. It focuses on both the quantitative (e.g., costs, profit, and revenue) and qualitative (e.g., relationships, meaning, and values) aspects of business operations.

The program's curriculum consists of 14 courses (42 credits) including "Business/Organizational Dynamics," "Self-Leadership," and "Cross-Cultural Leadership."

Other courses include "Systems Thinking Quality Leadership;" "Ethical, Social and Environmental Responsibility;" and "Strategic Leadership of Human Capital."

MBA Class Format

Courses, which are offered in 10-week terms five times per year, are delivered in a cyber-class format, relying heavily on online discussion forums. This allows students to engage and interact with their classmates despite the physical distance between them.

Online MBA Program Outcomes

Students learn how to think analytically, critically, statistically, and strategically. They also gain in-depth understanding of business dynamics, learn to think from a systems perspective, and strengthen their communication skills.

In addition, they obtain the skills needed to positively influence people, organizations, and society. Students also acquire the expertise and judgment required to solve complex problems, lead people, and manage organizational systems.

Skilled Faculty Members

Online MBA faculty members ? such as Professor Douglas Letsch -- are skilled practitioners, scholars, and teachers who understand the challenges of balancing school, work, and family.

Dr. Letsch is a consultant and educator who specializes in the accounting, finance, tax, and technology areas. He also has several years of experience as a chief financial officer, and he has published works related to business finance.
