Although all courses are completed online, students meet -- on weekends -- at the Nashville campus no more than 3 times each semester.

The full-time distance MSSW program includes 60 semester hours and can be completed in 2 years or 4 semesters. Students complete the foundation curriculum in the 1st year, which includes a 352-hour field placement.

The 2nd year focuses on the concentration curriculum that also includes a field placement (672 hours).

Advanced Standing Distance MSSW Program

The Advanced Standing program is designed for students who earned BSW or BSSW degrees within the past 5 years from schools accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. These students must also have cumulative undergraduate GPAs of at least 3.0.
