Master of Business Administration Program
The full-time, 2-year M.B.A. program offers "a unique combination of theoretical and applied learning along with a customized curriculum."
In the first year, students take core courses that focus on the fundamentals of business. They spend the second year on coursework in disciplines that are of interest to them.
Full-time M.B.A. students generally have more time to immerse themselves in college life, find it easier to arrange internships, have more time for clubs and activities, and have more study-abroad options.
Fully-Employed Master of Business Administration Program
The fully-employed M.B.A., a 33-month general management program at UCLA, is designed for mid-career professionals. Classes meet twice per week on week-day evenings and Saturdays.
In addition to taking core and elective courses, students participate in the Global Access Program. Teams of students work with executives at international technology companies to create strategic business plans that are designed to move the companies to the next stage of development.
Executive Master of Business Administration Program (E.M.B.A.)
The school's E.M.B.A. program was created for more accomplished professionals who have managerial experience. In fact, many students have 10 to 25 years of work experience.
This 22-month program features a leadership foundations course, 3 residencies, a 6-month field study, a wide-variety of elective courses, and international exchange programs.
Comprehensive Career Services at the Anderson School
The Parker Career Management Center at the University of California, Los Angeles assists students with launching their post-M.B.A. careers. It helps them discover their interests, skills, and values; determine their career paths; connect with alumni; and manage their careers.
Resources include individual career counseling, career workshops and panels, and Web-based career resources. The center also facilitates peer mentoring programs in which second-year students coach and counsel first-year students.

Dr. Carla Hayn, a professor in accounting, exemplifies UCLA Anderson's commitment to academic excellence. She holds a Ph.D. in accounting and finance and has published numerous articles in top accounting and finance journals including "Measuring Reporting Conservatism," which was published in the "Accounting Review" in 2007.
She is also a financial consultant and an expert witness who has worked on securities litigation cases with a focus on financial reporting and disclosure issues, corporate valuation, and risk assessment.
Financial Assistance at the Anderson School of Management
The University of California, Los Angeles offers various forms of financial aid to Anderson students. Most students receive fellowships, grants, and/or loans to help fund their education. In fact, the school awards nearly $6 million annually in merit-based fellowships, donor fellowships, and need-based grants.
In addition, second-year students may be eligible to receive teaching or research assistantships.

The Anderson School works to create a well-rounded graduate school experience for its students.
