Dual Degree Programs Combine Gatton Business Degrees with Study in Other Fields
In addition to its graduate and undergraduate programs, Gatton College offers a number of dual degree programs that allow students to receive their MBA degrees in conjunction with degrees in other fields. The MBA/BS Engineering program is a five-year program that results in both an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. This selective program includes a mandatory study abroad requirement.
In conjunction with University of Kentucky's College of Law, students can follow the MBA/JD dual degree program, resulting in both an MBA and a Juris Doctor law degree. Concurrent Degrees in Business and Diplomacy Allow Graduates to Influence the Global Economy
Gatton College recognizes that business and issues of globalization often intersect with politics and international relations, and that the area of intersection is often where the most crucial problems of global development occur. For this reason, Gatton has created a distinctive concurrent degree program with the University of Kentucky's Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce. This program results in the Patterson degree as well as either an MBA or an MA in Economics from Gatton College.
Due to the well-organized nature of the program, students typically complete both degrees in five semesters, graduating with a depth of understanding of business issues, economic issues, and how those issues can be applied on an international diplomatic level.
