Overview

University of San Francisco School of Management

Students of the School of Management at the University of San Francisco benefit from the rigorous academic tradition and social justice values of a Jesuit university, as well as the dynamism and diversity of the San Francisco Bay Area. The exceptional faculty consists of entrepreneurs, consultants, researchers, and business leaders who provide insights across multiple industries and sectors: public, private and nonprofit. USF students grow in their understanding of project and people leadership while simultaneously learning to think beyond the bottom line to the common good.

Transform your life, leadership and the world from here - San Francisco's first university - USF.

The Master of Science in Risk Management (MSRM) analyzes the dynamic nature of risk management in financial institutions. The MSRM curriculum is based on the body of knowledge covered by the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) exams offered by the Global Association of Risk Professionals. MSRM students master the highly quantitative and complex analytical methods necessary to measure and control market risk, credit risk and operational risk. Graduates of the program possess a sophisticated knowledge of probability, statistics, economics, derivatives, and risk modeling. The MSRM, a 24-month part-time program starting each August, is designed for people working in finance, investment and risk management.
