University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium
The University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium is comprised of the Colleges of Business of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and University of Wisconsin-Parkside. These four schools are part of the University of Wisconsin system which is well-known economic, cultural, and academic resource for Wisconsin and the world.
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire serves as the managing partner for the Consortium. While each partner school has its own campus MBA program, they come together to offer this unique online degree which provides additional course opportunities for the campus students as well as a totally online degree for students who choose to be admitted as Consortium students.
Each of the four prestigious partner business schools is AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accredited.

University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium Program
The University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium offers a 30-credit online MBA program that is designed for a variety of people in professions including engineering, business, and health care who are striving to move ahead in their careers. Because the Consortium's online MBA program has a flexible curriculum, it is perfect for those who travel for work or who juggle work and home responsibilities.
The online MBA program through University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium can be completed within two years once all MBA foundation requirements have been met. Most Consortium MBA candidates graduate within 2 ½ to 3 years.
Students of the Consortium MBA program graduate with a broad and practical understanding of the business dynamic in a global environment, have the skills essential for managing change and recognizing the opportunities that it creates, and understand how to meet any situation in a socially responsible and ethical manner.
As online MBA program candidates, students are required to complete 16 credits of classes that feature theme-based, content-integrated modules as well as a 1 credit leadership mini-module; students are also required to complete 13 elective credits, which allow them to explore topics applicable to their unique interests and needs.
University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium for Successful Online Learning
The University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium helps students achieve a successful online education by helping them coordinate their family, work, and outside lives with school.
The Consortium's online MBA program offers classes that allow students to work from home at times that are suitable to them. Modules are organized to follow a semester schedule while electives vary from 3 to 8 weeks in length. Both modules and electives provide regular deadlines for tests and assignments. Students show their presence in courses through their completion of online assignments and participation in online discussions.
If you do not yet meet the pre-requisites for admittance to the MBA program, the MBA Consortium offers Foundation courses that fulfill those pre-requisites. Most courses are about eight weeks long and average two credits per class. The schedule and time commitment for each course is such that it allows students who have busy schedules and multiple commitments to still make well-paced progress toward their goal of achieving a graduate-level degree.
All University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium courses are offered online, and students participate in discussion groups and share opinions with other students and instructors through the Internet. Consortium faculty are committed to students' success and make themselves available via the course medium itself, virtual office hours, and e-mail.
