The Master of Science in Engineering Management Program: An Interdisciplinary Education

The Master of Science in Engineering Management program consists of 30 credits (10 courses). The program will give students the skills to take their careers to the next level. Western New England University's interdisciplinary program integrates engineering and business courses, including core courses in engineering administration, quality assurance, and the economic impact of engineering decisions.

Four 11-week terms allow students to take courses year-round providing them with opportunities to earn their degrees in as little as 1 year.

A Myriad of Course Options at Western New England University

Western New England University's course delivery model offers what the school believes to be the ultimate in flexibility by providing the opportunity to blend online and classroom instruction. The Master of Science in Engineering Management program can be completed 100 percent online. However, if students prefer traditional classroom settings, they will have opportunities to attend in-class sessions offered during the evening. Courses typically meet 1 or 2 nights per week.

With Western New England University's lecture capture software, students will be able to watch the lectures online at the times of their choosing. Students can refer back to the lecture as needed and download the audio and video onto such mobile platforms as cell phones and PDAs. Western New England University's model is designed to enhance the learning process and facilitate students' interactions with instructors and classmates.

Through the university's course delivery software students will be able to post questions and assignments, review complex mathematical equations that were discussed in class, work on team projects, maintain records of their correspondence with instructors and classmates, and more.
