Throughout their studies they will have the opportunity to become experts in one or more areas through elective courses.

Schulich's practical management education is complemented by the over 160 electives and 19 specializations. Students can choose to focus on a management function like marketing or organizational behaviour, an industry sector like health industry management or global mining management, or special business topics like business and sustainability or entrepreneurship.

Depending on the program of study, there may be additional opportunities to deepen and broaden specialized knowledge using diploma and professional designation programs. The choice is unlimited.

Launch Your Career

A career post MBA is a top priority at Schulich. Whether students are moving into a new function or switching industries, the Career Development Centre (CDC) helps to position students to achieve their career objectives. The CDC's winning formula for success includes self-assessment tools, career coaching, and events designed to maximize student access to prospective employers.

CDC counselors help students to clarify their interests, values, and abilities and polish how they present themselves through resume, cover letter, and interview workshops. They connect students to employers through on-campus recruitment events, corporate information sessions, industry breakfasts, and discussion panels.

These services help students to find a position that is the right fit within their desired industry.
