Angela Walton-RajiAngela Walton-Raji has more than twenty years in higher-education administration, beginning with an admissions position at Boston College in 1978 before moving to Tufts University in 1980. At Tufts, she served as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions from 1980 to 1986 and focused on recruiting minority students. She then began recruiting for the Tufts University Nutrition Research Center on Aging and for the research studies sponsored by the USDA and Tufts.

In 1990, Ms. Walton-Raji took a position in Graduate Admissions at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), in the Graduate School, and she is currently the Director of Graduate School Recruitment. She is a member of the National Association of Foreign Student Advisors (NAFSA) and also of the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals (NAGAP). In the summer of 2000 she had two articles published in the NAGAP Journal.
