The questions in this program were part of a Q&A session featuring admissions experts Howard
and Matthew Greene.
My daughter is a senior right now, and is really only looking at two colleges. How should we
begin to expand the list?
My son is a senior this year and interested in pursuing journalism/broadcast journalism in
college. Though he registered for Newspaper again this year, it was not on his schedule. He is
currently scheduled for a number of upper-level courses in math, English, science, and Spanish.
To fit Newspaper in, should he drop a math or science course? Would a sociology or psychology
course be more useful in this case?
My daughter is a high school senior and loves music. She also wants to earn an honors diploma
at the end of the year, but scheduling conflicts are preventing her from pursuing both her music
studies and the honors diploma. Ultimately she decided to pursue the honors diploma. Did she
make the right decision?
