Description

National competition to encourage college students to be active in science, engineering, mathematics, technology, and creative invention, while stimulating their problem solving abilities. This prestigious challenge recognizes the working relationship between student and advisor who are involved in projects that can be patented. The prize winning undergraduate student or student-team receives a $10,000 cash prize.


Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be an undergraduate student
  • Must attend a university or a four-year college
  • Must study full-time
  • Restricted to students studying Applied Sciences, Biology, Materials Science, Engineering, and Metallurgy, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science/Data Processing, Health and Medical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering-Related Technologies, or Engineering/Technology
