Highly qualified undergraduate students are invited to apply for scholarships to fund study, thesis research or internships in Germany. Preference is given to students whose enroll independently at German universities or participate in a project or program based at and organized by a German university. Scholarships may also be applied toward participation in an organized study abroad program, such as those organized by their school that are at least one semester long. It must take place during the German academic year, from October to July, either one semester (four months) or an academic year (10 months) in duration. Award package includes a monthly stipend (??? 650/month), health insurance, and a one-time travel stipend.

- Must attend a university or a four-year college
- Must study full-time
- Must not be attending high school currently
