Description

The objective of this scholarship is to assist young men and women in continuing their education beyond high school. Applicant's parent or grandparent must be a member of the Maine American Legion, living or deceased. Be of good character and demonstrated through his/her past behavior that s/he believes in the American way of life. Additional requirements include three letters of recommendation, letter of endorsement from high school. Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
