Description

The Myrtle Siegfried, MD, and Michael Vigilante, MD, Scholarship will be awarded to a qualified first-year medical student in a fully accredited United States medical school. Applicants must be a resident of eligible counties in the state of Pennsylvania for at least 12 months prior to registering as a medical student. Two reference letters, from persons other than family members, documenting the applicant's integrity, interpersonal skills, and potential as a future physician are required. A letter, on school letterhead, from the applicant's medical school verifying that they are enrolled as a first-year medical student is also required.
