Description

One-time award given in even-numbered years to female artists ages 35 and older, who are U.S. citizens, to be used to further the creative purpose of the applicant. Must submit three 4x6 or bigger color prints (no slides) of work in any media. For photography, submit three 4x6 prints in color or black and white. All applicants must submit statements of background, purpose of grant, and how applicant learned of grant. Application fee: $25. Send self-addressed stamped envelope for further requirements. Applications are submitted in odd-numbered years (deadline: October 1) and awards are given at the NLAPW Biennial Convention in April of even-numbered years.


Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a graduate student
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must not be attending high school currently
  • Must be at least 35 years old
  • Restricted to female students
  • Restricted to students studying Arts
  • Restricted to individuals having experience in these volunteer or employment areas: fine arts
  • Restricted to individuals with the following interests: photography/photogrammetry/filmmaking or art
