Ancient history, anthropology, Asian languages, Asian studies, Buddhist studies, Hindi, history, Indian studies, philosophy, religious studies, Tibetan.

Fall.

Venue

Headquartered in Bodh Gaya, India. Scheduled travel to Delhi, London; field trips to Varanasi, Rajgir; optional travel to other areas of India, approved neighboring countries at an extra cost.

Living Arrangements

Students live in the guest house of a Burmese Monastery. Meals are taken as a group, on one's own, in residences, in restaurants.

Requirements

Minimum age 18; open to sophomores, juniors, seniors, adults; course work in philosophy, religion or Buddhist studies; 2 letters of recommendation; good academic standing at home school; maturity, sensitivity; no foreign language proficiency required.
