Arcadia University

Arcadia Center for Hellenic, Mediterranean and Balkan Studies and Research

Academic Focus

Ancient history, archaeology, architecture, art, Byzantine studies, classics and classical languages, environmental science/studies, Greek, Greek studies, religious studies, social sciences.

Sessions

Fall, spring, yearlong.

Venue

Headquartered in Athens, Greece. Scheduled travel to Crete, Thessaloniki; field trips to museums, ruins, archaeological sites; optional travel to Delphi, nearby islands.

Living Arrangements

Students live in locally rented apartments. Quarters are shared with host institution students. Meals are taken on one's own, in residences, in restaurants.

Requirements

Open to sophomores, juniors, seniors; 3.0 GPA; 1 letter of recommendation; good academic standing at home school; transcript and advisor's form; no foreign language proficiency required.
