ACM Tanzania Program: Studies in Human Evolution and Ecology

Academic Focus

Archaeology, ecology, Swahili.

Session

Fall.

Venue

Headquartered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Scheduled travel to the Grumeti Game Reserve, Endulen Village, Tarangire National Park; field trips to Zanzibar, Serengeti National Park.

Living Arrangements

Students live in host institution dormitories, host family homes, field camp. Quarters are shared with host institution students. Meals are taken as a group.

Requirements

Open to sophomores, juniors, seniors; 3 letters of recommendation; no foreign language proficiency required.
